Whether you’re joining a Ski Safari or a lesson, having the right gear and essentials is key:
Clothing and Equipment
Clothing:
Waterproof ski jacket and pants.
Thermal base layers.
Warm gloves or mittens.
Insulated socks (wool or synthetic).
A hat or balaclava (for under your helmet).
UV-protective ski goggles or sunglasses.
Equipment:
Skis or snowboard (rented or personal).
Boots (fitted for skiing or snowboarding).
Helmet (required for all participants).
Extras
Sunscreen and lip balm with SPF.
Cash or card for lunch or anything extra you may want to buy.
Skis or Snowboard - your ski and board length, when stood in front of you, should be somewhere between your chin and the top of your head.
Poles - if you are a first timer, or under the age of 12 we strongly recommoed you no poles for kids. Its much easier for kids to learn without them as there is an added and additonal layer of coordination. So adults, if you want one less thing to think about - leave the poles at home :).
Boots that fit - boots should be snug, with no pressure points either across the top or side of your foot and minimal ankle movement, your ankle should feel locked in. You should be able to wriggle your toes and they should never be curled up.
Helmet - it is mandaory for all children under 18 to wear a helemt. We also encourage all our adult guests to wear a ski helmet.
Remember to have your phone fully charged in case of an emergency
